Not really 9 X 6Aug 07, 2008 Hoping to be comfortable taking my Amazon Kindle poolside, I got these bags (9 X 6) before vacation. Since the Kindle measures only 5 3/8 inches by 8 1/4, it should fit.
Wrong. These bags measure only 5 1/4 by 8 3/4 inside the zipper.
They do a great job keeping out the water, just don't plan on putting something that is 6X9 into them.
Not so sure...Jul 31, 2008 I bought this based on good reviews... but I'm not so sure I trust this to hold up. I tested the bags already, and sure enough... they don't let the water in. My concern lies with the one very small strip of ziplock. It is way too easy to open. My grocery store ziplocks take more effort to pull apart. I thought there would be at least two strips to provide a back-up in case one opens while underwater.

Good ProductApr 11, 2008 I ended up using this bag as my main wallet for my whole vacation. I got three of them, and one of them got damaged by some keys or something in my pocket, so I switched to one of the others. It still didn't leak, but it had little bumps on it like the plastic was stretched. Nothing ever got wet in any of these bags the whole trip. I was careful to seal it properly every time, and I didn't get sand in it. It was just big enough to hold my passport, some cash, atm receipts, etc. Now that I've tried them, I'll probably get more in some of the larger sizes. Just as convenient as my usual zip-lock bags, but way more durable.

Great for adventure racing, orienteering, camping. . .Apr 05, 2008 I used the smallest size sak (9x6) for a recent adventure race. I liked the smaller size (easier to hand carry) but the next size up might have been a little better. Fortunately, our map was small enough to fit in the small sak.

Works like a charm...Dec 30, 2007 I bought these recently for an adventure race involving a lot of water and mud. I used the larger one for a big map folded in half, the mid size for a information book, and the smaller for a cell phone (I bought several different variety). All three bags worked flawlessly being submerged completely under water at several occasions and through multiple zippings and unzippings. These are a very high grade of plastic and are constructed very well. These aren't anything like the space bags I have that can't hold a seal for more than 15 minutes.
