pretty lightweight pack, comfortable fit and weight distribution. use primarily for snowboarding, has enough room to fit necessary items: trail food, gloves, goggles, light Polartec layer. tube line is not insulated (in contrast to winter-specific insulated models) but I haven't had too many issues with freezing - just blow back any frost and line clears easily
