MAP MEASURING TOOLSep 30, 2008
I am a BSA volunteer and I read different types and scales of maps. I was disappointed with the roller. It seems that the roller [measuring wheel] slides on the paper and will not give you an accurate reading. To verify its accuravy, I measured a section of a road that I knwe to be 5 miles. The tool measured 4 miles on a city map. After purchasing the tool, I do not feel that I can trust it.
