During extended endurance exercise the body accumulates excess ammonia from protein metabolism, which interferes with glycogen production, disrupting energy output. Anti-Fatigue Caps are a one-of-a-kind product combining three well-known ammonia-scavenging nutrients. Usage information 2-4 capsules one hour prior to training. This would provide an initial dose of 500-1000 mg magnesium/potassium aspartate, 200-400 mg citrulline, and 280-560 mg OKG, an excellent dose at the onset of an endurance workout or race. An additional 1-2 capsules each hour, at the two-hour mark and beyond, during extended endurance sessions is also suggested. Ingredients per capsule: Potassium Magnesium Aspartate 250 mg, L-Citrulline 100 mg, OKG (Ornithine alpha Ketoglutarate) 140 mg, Enzyme Enhancement System (A proprietary blend of protease and phytase) 10 mg. Other ingredients: Stabilized Rice Bran, Vegetable Capsules (pullulan and water). | | | Features: | |

Not as Effective as SportslegsApr 13, 2009
By Srikanth Vandanapu I used Sportslegs anti-fatigue caps and did biking for 5 hours without any fatigue especially while doing the hills. But these caps are hardly effective, it is as good as not taking them as they don't show any impact. I bonked out several times in my training and in my century ride too having depending on these caps. My husband felt the same too. We compared the ingredients with Sportslegs and bought them from Amazon as the cost was cheaper with Hammer. I think the little pricey Sportslegs are definitely worth it.

tried sportslegs and think this stuff is better. went on long rides without and not sure if it was just mental but could tell the difference. doing century at the end of the month and this will be with me. cost wise i pulled the trigger because of the free shipping and no tax. would have bought local if there was shipping

Best $20 ever spent! This stuff works!Sep 15, 2011
By Syl I use them when I do long runs (I run marathons) and all I can say is 'WOW'! This stuff works. I don't feel tired when I get to the end of a long run and feel like I can run faster and longer even when it's over. I feel like I can go on forever and ever. Ok maybe not forever but I run a lot faster and feel like I have lots of energy when I take these pills. I only take them once every two weeks or so but will start taking them at least once a week because it really helps my training. I take them before the workout and then 2 every hour if I do a long run. I bet it doesn't work for everyone but for $18 you can't go wrong.
