good lightNov 17, 2008 I like this light, but there are a lot of things about it that could be better.
For starters, the plastic attachments that hook up to your helmet could be stronger. Mine broke off entirely while I was riding one day under the weight of the light, was rather annoying.
Then there is the matter of it not really being so bright, I've seen lights that illuminate the entire road, and this one was lucky if it could reach the ground and show me what I was riding over. But cars seem to be more aware of where I am, so that is nice
That being said Amazon was more than happy to send me a replacement, so really no harm no foul.
Superb helmet lightNov 04, 2008 I bought this to use for reading cue sheets on night rides and illuminating street signs that were off to my side. I would never consider it for use as your main headlight except to use the LEDs as a "be seen" type of headlight. In that regard, aiming it at approaching cars from the helmet mount (as you look at them) can be helpful in staying visible to drivers.
The LEDs are completely adequate for my planned use. The Xenon is insanely bright as a spotlight and is useful for the brief need to see road corners that your bike's main headlight doesn't illuminate. It is true the Xenon will run through even fresh batteries in about 3 hours.

Good....... for about 2 hoursSep 28, 2008 After reading a few of the reviews that where posted here about the Yukon light, i though i had found a decent light at a decent price. Overall I am disapointed by the stregth of both the xenon and LED lights. But the most diaspointing aspect of the ligth is the battery life. Three hours tops on the xenon. I suppose you can't get much out of 3 triple A's. But i do have a plan. I am going to rig 3 D sized batteries and build a case for them.

Good light, not for mtbAug 29, 2008 It's well built and bright when the xenon bulb is not burned out. Mine went out the first ride. Would not reccomend for mtb. Otherwise a good light.

Great Light for the priceApr 27, 2008 This is easily the best light you can buy at this price. It's bright and the batteries will last you for several weeks on LOW and almost all night on HIGH. I doubt there is another light out there that can last all night on HIGH, be this bright, and cost this little.
