Spyderco Ladybug serrated edge key chain knifeJul 12, 2008 This is among the tiniest knife that Spyderco makes. It'll fit onto your key chain, lanyard, pocket or purse.
Remember not to carry it onto an airplane due to current restrictions.
I own the Endura, Delica, Ladybug and Jester models. All are superbly made.
Sypderco knives have the distinctive thumb hole on the top of their blade. They also have the lock blade safety mechanism button on the handle. Still be careful not to cut yourself. They are razor sharp.
The blades are made from high carbon stain resistant steel so they can hold an edge. However, you must keep the blades clean. Otherwise residue will stain or corrode the blades.
Spyderco has a mail back sharpening service to restore the edge to original factory sharpness.
The serrated edge is good for cutting through though material such as rope or cardboard.
However, since the Ladybug model is so tiny any way, the serrated edge is really short.
I personally prefer the plain edge over the serrated edge. The plain cuts more smoothly without tearing.

Fits inside change pocket! :)Jun 07, 2008 This knife does not have the usual clip on the side you can use to put on your pants but it's small enough to fit inside the change pocket in a pair of jeans. I like it but when you hold on to it unfolded, it's only large enough to grip it with two fingers. But, I really love it because you don't look like a criminal carrying it around and it's great for emergencies like cutting open those impossible-to-open plastic packages. (With great care though because you can only grip it with two fingers, plus it's so small, it seems dangerous when you're closing it.)
I'd like to say for a full size knife, I prefer the Spyderco Flight. And for a medium sized one, the Spyderco Robin is my favorite given it's the right size and weight to carry around and still large enough to hold with a good grip.

Spyderco LadybugFeb 20, 2008 Very handy without taking much room. Handy with a cord tied through the lanyard hole. Doesn't wear out pants and attaches to a belt or belt loop easily. Great for opening mail, trimming a broken fingernail or 1001 daily uses. Cuts way beyond what you might expect. When I finally wear the blade out, as I abuse it, I buy another., although I have sharpened them easily. You won't break it, merely dull it if you use it like I do. It's legal length for sure.
