Great thumb compass with rotating housingFeb 11, 2008 I've found this compass very easy to use. It's a great compass for the intermediate orienteer, since it has the rotating housing which allows you to take a bearing. Many of the advanced thumb compasses don't have the rotating housing. This is a welcome feature for those of us that still need to take bearings. I've never had a problem with the needle sticking.

Worst compass I've ownedOct 09, 2007 This is the worst compass I've owned. The needle sticks, often giving a faulty bearing. The Moscow compass is cheaper and far better. The Suunto Arrow 1 compass was decent, but the same can't be said for Suunto Arrow 5.
