This item is very convenient to use. I think it should be a standard issued item with all Suunto watches. I wore out the slot on the back of the watch trying to replace the battery before I received this kit. Well worth the price.

It is what it is - a replacement battery for Suunto 6 series watches and others. I like the fact that they include an opening tool and a new battery cover and seal for a guaranteed water tightness.
Instead of taking it to a watch repair place for a new battery, save your money and do it yourself.

Correct Battery for T6Aug 08, 2007
I saw another reviewer who ordered the wrong battery for their Suunto watch and noticed there was some inconsistency in model numbers. For anyone looking for a replacement battery for the T6, this is the correct model. Very easy to change the battery yourself (comes with a metal tool to help) and the watch retains its waterproof state thanks to the rubber casket which is included. Other than that, it's a battery and it works! Final note - if your watch has trouble sometimes connecting to the HRM or foot pod, or sometimes misses measurements, it could be that the battery is running low. Mine was just starting to have these problems but after I changed the battery, it was flawless again.

A must have for anyone with a Suunto watch. I wish I knew about this before I tried to remove the battery from my Suunto. The kit comes with a cap remover to help remove the cap on the back without tearing it up. I would have liked to have the original cap but the kit does come with a new cap. Almost 5 stars if Suunto made this information easy to find when you buy the watch.
